Gearsprocket Workshop
★★★★☆ 4.0
Gearsprocket Workshop is a tinkering sim where customers bring you broken contraptions and you take them apart to figure out what's wrong. Each repair is a small puzzle, and the satisfaction of a machine whirring back to life never got old for me.
You slowly upgrade your workbench, unlock new tools, and take on stranger jobs as your reputation grows. The pacing is relaxed and there's no fail state, which makes it perfect for zoning out after a long day.
It gets a touch grindy once you've seen most of the machine types, but for a good stretch it's a lovely little loop. The art style is warm and the sound design of tiny gears clicking into place is oddly hypnotic.
